Wendy Cornell

Hi, I’m Wendy. I am a former Chief Growth Officer turned Consultant with over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, operations and leadership.

Throughout my career, I’ve consistently demonstrated exceptional performance by championing innovative thinking, leveraging technology and uniting teams, colleagues, and the community.

Some highlights of my career:

  • Promoted to CGO at StormWater Pros and lead my team into an exciting new chapter alongside a Private Equity Group

  • Awarded the Going Above and Beyond Award at the Main Event National Operators Conference. Standing on stage, I received my favorite introduction to date as “perhaps the most productive human on the planet, Wendy Cornell.”

  • Awarded the Marketing in Excellence Award at the Gigi’s Cupcake Owners’ Conference

  • Received my 3rd promotion with Lexmark and became the youngest Territory Sales Director in the company’s history at age of 23.

At Steady On Tech, we believe in growth that goes beyond numbers it’s about building a life and career that reflect your true values.

My journey to founding Steady On Tech is rooted in experiences that few growth consultants can claim. I left high school early, dove into college, and found myself thriving in sales. By 19, I was a young mom and climbing the corporate ladder. In my early 20s, I was promoted to a Territory Sales Director at a global company and traveling extensively around the country.

But life changed when my four incredible kids with genius IQs needed more tailored education paths. I left the corporate world to prioritize their unique learning needs, which led me to small business roles that gave me flexibility and an unexpected education in adaptability along with diverse industry insights.

Over the years, I became the right hand of small business owners across numerous industries, driving change and growth from the ground up.

When my children were grown, I stepped into a C-level role, but I soon realized that traditional definitions of success didn’t align with mine. My true success was raising my family, nurturing a 30-year marriage, and transforming countless businesses. That’s why I created Steady On Tech, to bring the wealth of my unique experiences to founders and business leaders ready to grow with purpose.
